Monochrome melodies and edgy hooks combine to create Dublin-based Some Dark Pixels unique sound, sometimes claustrophobic and at other times truly cinematic. However this is the cinematic sound of a lost Wim Wenders’ film, where shadows emerge from Berlin underpasses lit by overhead tungsten street lights. As a result, his music has a captivating and often surprising character, reflective of his protean, polyphonic personality.
