Enigmatic South London outfit, Chroma Falls, have disclosed almost nothing about the human presence behind the music. Each richly layered track possesses its own vivid sense of scale which is expertly balanced with a seemingly instinctive empathy, which reveals a passion for the spatial aspects of electronic music.

Despite its scale, their music never feels imposing. The vast caverns in which it’s set, along with their penchant for spiralling synths and otherworldly vocals, may distort one’s perception of space but somehow its not unsettling. Instead there’s a very human narrative running through everything which, even in its darkest moments, creates an aura of warmth and confidence. Perhaps here we gain a brief glimpse into the character behind the music.
